Where can I find proof that Asparatame is a Carcinogen?!

Question:

Where can I find proof that Asparatame is a Carcinogen?

Asparatame = nutrisweet, the stuff in diet soda and sugarless gum.

Answers:
Aspartame is not good for people who lack the enzyme to digest it. That is called PKU disease and babies are checked for it when they are born because the amino acid phenylalanine is found in milk and if you can not digest it there is a type of mental retardation that can occur. Aspartame is a dipeptide, composed of the 2 amino acids aspartic acid and phenylalanine. There are articles about this disease and about the effects on ADD/ADHD. Some of the original tests were done on rats using 100 times a human intake. I would suggest avoiding artificially sugared
products unless it necessary to use them because of diabetes or other diseases.

You can't as it has not been proven. However you can find plenty of articles on the Web about the effects of aspartame, including that it can give one symptoms of MS. That is not to say it causes MS but can have similar effects.

Here are short readings with proof that Aspartame is a Carcinogen from web pages for you to read.

“For 16 years, the FDA resisted pressure to approve aspartame due to safety studies linking the artificial sweetener to numerous adverse reactions, including the development of brain tumors in animal studies. In 1977, FDA investigator Jerome Bressler released a report describing how, in clinical studies submitted to the FDA, Searle removed aspartame-induced brain tumors that developed in lab rats and placed them back into the study. If the rats died, Bressler reported, Searle would resurrect them on paper.”

“However, in 1985, due to the conversion of aspartame to formaldehyde (even while stored in the can or bottle), the National Soft Drink Association (NSDA) recommended to the FDA that “aspartame NOT be approved for use by people in soda.” Aspartame is lost at higher storage temperatures (especially above 86 degrees), causing an increase in the amount of formaldehyde in the beverage. An increased presence of formaldehyde in the body has been found to cause negative side effects such as “headaches, joint pain, memory loss, numbness, tinnitus, hearing loss, vision problems, weight gain, rashes, seizures, fatigue, muscle spasms or dizziness, asthma or chest tightness.”

How industry manipulates public opinion
Why you believe what you believe
“PR (public relations) was created to manipulate public opinion. More and more of what we hear, see and read as "news" is actually PR content. On any given day much of what the media broadcasts or prints as news is provided by the PR industry.”

“Undoubtedly you have heard that Aspartame is a safe sweetener and people use it to loose weight. Unfortunately that information is criminally false and misleading. You can find out more about how public relations firms shape and manipulate the public's beliefs on the "Why you believe what you believe" page.
Aspartame is made of 3 components, 50% phenylalanine, 40% aspartic acid and 10% methanol (wood alcohol). In the body methanol breaks down into formaldehyde (embalming fluid) and formic acid.”

“The current recommendation for aspartame from the Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI), a non-profit education and advocacy organization, is, "If you consume more than a couple of servings per day, consider cutting back. And, to be on the safe side, don't give aspartame to infants." (From Safe Food, by Michael Jacobson, Ph.D.)”

“This is the most recent of many projects which confirms aspartame's toxicity beyond controversy. FDA & Searle have always known aspartame is a Class A Carcinogen. The late FDA toxicologist, Dr. Adrian Gross, told Congress that aspartame, beyond a shadow of a doubt can produce brain tumors and brain cancer, and violates the Delaney Amendment which forbids anything in food which causes cancer. His last words to Congress: "If the FDA violates its own laws who is left to protect the public?" Ten thousand tombstones show that only a concerned citizenry can achieve save itself from all the 92 symptoms FDA once listed.”

This is just my opinion, it would be better to use the natural products in moderation.

Hopefully this will answer your question.
Thank you.
