Why is my coffee coming out cloudy?!

Question:

Why is my coffee coming out cloudy?

I cleaned my coffee maker, but my coffee is very cloudy. Anyone have any suggestions?

Answers:
It could be minerals in the water. Check out this article on making a great cup of coffee.

What does your water look like? The quality of your coffee is largely dependent on the quality of your water.

If you're using a machine you should use only fresh cold water. Even room temperature water can affect the look and taste of coffee.

Your carafe may have some sort of residue. Clean it well in hot soapy water and then rinse well.

You might try running some white vinegar through the brew cycle. Two times should be enough to really clean the working parts.

Your water is bad.
