Are energy drinks fatting?!

Question:

Are energy drinks fatting?

Answers:
if the energy drinks contain sugar or high fructose syrup, then yes, they are fattening if you do not burn those calories during the day. Even though it says 0 fat in those drinks, the sugar does in fact turns into fat cells in the body if not burned for energy. And most people do not burn that much energy during their day. As you know most energy drinks are used for their caffeine content and used to "stay awake". good luck.

If they are high in calories they are. The labels should tell you.

An excess of any amount of calories is fattening.

Most energy drinks consist of a stimulant like caffeine for sustained energy and also glucose for immediate sugar energy!

Use a sugar-free version of the drink. The label on the drink will tell you the calorie count.

duh!

Didn't you know? Everything in America is fattening except your spit, but who knows, maybe ten years from now we will have calories included in our saliva.

Not if you look at the fat content of an energy drink. What you need to look for are calories and sugar content. Your body converts sugars into energy a lot the same way it burns calories. Your body can burn only so many calories, sugars, and fats and once it stops burning the calories, sugars, and fats you are consuming it then starts storing energy..in the form of fat. So, not only does unburned fat make you fat but so does unburned sugars and calories.

To answer your question; if your angry drink has a lot of sugar in it and you are eating a lot of other sugars in your diet that you're not burning then your energy drinks will make you fat.

To answer Montana's comment, your spit does contain calories until 3 hours after you eat.

Depedning on the company, majorirty are if you drink a large amount
