What characteristics do you look for in a coffee shop?!

Question:

What characteristics do you look for in a coffee shop?

I thought about opening my own coffee shop when i get older and i just wondered what you guys considered a good coffee shop

Answers:
Dark relaxing atmosphere, with Wi Fi throughout the shop. Very Quiet, Cool Deccor. You should try to invent your own Coffee type beverage, and give it a catchy name. It will make people remember you. Have a local musician come in and play some music. Also, I think it's cool when there is several types of Soaps and lotions in the bathrooms, like, from Bath and Body Works, or somthing like that. Good Luck!

im sticking to starbucks.
:)

relaxing

Casual seating...like with leather couches and coffee tables. CHEESECAKE. Live music...jazz or something. And a patio area.

Nice ambience, good coffee, & a smoking area. (--,)

A place I can go and relax with my friend, a good book, or my laptop.

Espresso machine, good coffee, baked goods to go with it, decent range of coffee products (late, capucino, au lait etc), other drinks for the spouses and kids, newspapers, smoking area, art on the wall. Meals on order, keep it simple, sandwiches and soups. Live music twice a week, film show Sunday evenings.

Visit Austin Texas and see 20 different themes in one day.

I like the chairs to be comfy, staff to be laid back and cool, offer more than coffee drinks, and reasonable prices...good luck with your future coffee shop!
