What is a better antioxidant - green tea or blueberry or pomegranate juice?!

Question:

What is a better antioxidant - green tea or blueberry or pomegranate juice?

Answers:
This is just a guess, but I think any fruit juice whether it be blueberry or pomegranate probably has more anti oxidants and other nutritional value since it is extracted from whole fruits. And it has 20 times the calories also from the fructose. Fruit juice also contains vitamins minerals which tea will never have, but is

Green tea comes from the leaves of a plant (camelia sinensis) and has no calories (until you put sugar or milk into it). So I think it has less anti oxidants, but it also has less calories. It also has less vitamins and minerals which you should be getting from food anyway.

I think you should drink both to cover all bases, but add the variety in your diet. good luck.

it is surely green tea

hhmmmm a tricky one i think it is green tea,but the other ones are right up there too all very good for you

I drink blueberry pomegranate juice and double up. Yum. I found it at both my local grocery stores, and while it is a little pricey (3.79 for a small bottle) the whole family likes it. But the recommended amount needed is one 8oz glass per day of the juice, so why not do both? Juice in the morning, tea during the day.

Pomegranate juice has more antioxidants in it. It helps fight with different types of cancers and helps with the freeradicals in your body. I am a big green tea fan... I love all tea, but when I read up on pomegranate juice, I found that it was much better for you. Pomegranate juice is like eight cups of tea.

Discussion

Advantages of green tea is that it has little calories, helps lose weight and when taken in modetation boosts your energy (like coffee but much gentler and lasts longer).

Contrary to another answer above, high grade green tea harvested from young shoots do contain vitamins C and E and K, but no where as rich as pomegranate.

Weight for weight green tea is the best. Imagine - just 2-3 grams of leaves of a high grade will brew 3 cups.

Best option - take them all! Diversify.
