What is the best hot chocolate?
Can anybody reccomend the best hot chocolate in their opinion, I don't drink tea or coffee and thought I'd get some hot chocolate.

Valrhona is near the top for me.
Thornton's Hot Chocolate (from UK Thornton's chocolatiers)
i don't like hot chocolate either but my husband and daughter love galaxy hot chocolate - you can get it in the supermarket.
green & blacks organic....made with hot milk and served with a blob of whipped cream! yumyumyumyum!
Go for one with a high cocoa content like Green & Blacks organic - pricey, but worth it.

hiya! i think the best hot chocolate available to buy is galaxy, it actually tastes like chocolate and is rich and creamy, just add a little bit of milk in with it and it'll be perfect!

I personally like the cadburys hot chocolate, but I only like it weak.
Peppermint Hot Chocolate
Options hot chocolate is fab and comes in loads of different flavours. My fave is Belgian Chocolate, with a little milk to make it creamy mmmmmmm!
cadburys hot chocolate with creamy milk mmmmmmm
Galaxy hot chocolate...its amazing! HOWEVER! dont use water like the recommend....fill half the cup with fresh milk and fill the rest up with water....put it in the micro to make it all hot and its perfect then!!!!!!
French Hot Chocolate - L'Ancienne; decadent and rich, plus it's not sugary sweet.
i like options cuz you have so many to choose from but aero has just brought out one that is suppose to be nice as well
My favorite is the one on the Hershey's Cocoa Container (this is the single serving microwave recipe):
2Tbsp sugar
2Tbsp Hershey's cocoa
dash salt
1 cup milk
1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
Mix sugar, cocoa and salt in a large mug. Heat milk in microwave at High for 1 1/2 minutes or until hot. Gradually add milk to cocoa mixture;stir well. Stir in vanilla.
This is by far the best recipe, but if you don't want to make it from scratch, then just Swiss Miss, but make sure you use milk!
Just get pure cocoa and add milk and sugar to taste. There are various companies making them: Cadbury and vanHouten.

Cadburys, made with warm milk, a pileof squirty cream and a flake!
There is a mexican chocolate that is called la abuelita. Walmart carries it. Is good for a fast fix. But if you have time, you can make your own according to your taste buds.
That is one of my favorite drinks, hot chocolate...well in my opinion when you are making a cup of cocoa, the best to buy is cocoa powder I can recomend Hershey cocoa powder.
when making this you cannot resist a creamy texture and you cannot use skim milk... :)
one cup milk
one cup whipping cream
one stick of cinnamon
Heat it low enough to boil but not over flow
add three tablespoon of cocoa powder
and two squares of dark chocolate for cooking.
Sugar for your taste and small pinch of salt.
YOu can only use the cocoa powder or both.
It tastes amazinly good.
Enjoy it.
Homemade hot chocolate. You have to make it in a pot on the oven. Its so creamy, smooth, sweet, and chocolatey. I definitely recommend finding a recipe for. Its delightful!
Galaxy - especially with a few marshmellows on top!
All the different makes of drinking chocolate are just sugar, dried milk whey and some cocoa. If you look at the ingredients some have very high sugar content.
Don't kid yourself. The best drink is made from pure cocoa at a fraction of the cost.Just add a little sugar to taste. If you microwave it then any little lumps of cocoa break up.
Once you have had a good cup of cocoa there is no going back.
my favorite hot chocolate is a mexican kind. its called abuelita or ibarra I recommend it.
