How do you BREW green tea...?!

Question:

How do you BREW green tea...?

wat i do is i get them in teabags the green tea, so i just put the teabag in a cup and pour over boiling water and wait for 2 mins for it to sink in

is that the right way?

Answers:
No, water used for brewing green tea mustn't be boiled. It kills tea aromas. The water must be warmed at around 85 °C.

heres how i do it:
bowl water (microwave for 2 minutes) 1 coffee cup of water
then stick tea bag in water and microwave for a minute more

u should be done and let it cool bc it will be hot

Absolutely, worth leaving for a few minutes more (4-5 minutes) to get the best from the tea bag

In a green tea pot

You brew it the same as you would brew any other type of bagged tea.How strong you want it depends on the amount of water you brew it in and how big the bag/bags are.

follow direction on box they came in , I brew the same way as regular tea

Now me and you make an great item as we enjoy our lovely green tea, yeah put ur green teabag in the cup and pour boiling water and if you like it strong, leave it to sit for 5 mins, if you just like a wee bit of taste, leave it in for 2mins, hey cheers, have a nice brew!!

I use the Mr Coffee ice tea maker-it works great and you get an entire pitcher to throw in the fridge-great to have on hand with warm weather coming!

No..tear several tea bags open....put contents in pot..pour on water and boil for 5 minutes. LOVELY!

you should use 80-85 C water..

Yup yup or just put the teabags in the kettle either way you'll get tea

Depends on what kind of green tea you are about to drink. For exmple, japanese gyokuro turns bitter very easy and you should brew in water bellow boling point and let it steep for at most 45 seconds. Also in this kind of tea you would need to use a lot more teal leaves that a standard tea. Some other teas require longer steeping times and hotter water to steep in. An easy rule of thumb although not really a rule at all, is that the lowest grade the green tea you are about to steep, the higher the temperature and longer steeping times. But this is also completelly subjective and depends on what your taste for tea is. As long as I know you could love extremelly bitter tea and the it would not be wrong at all to steep a gyokuro tea for 20 minutes, or you could love watery tea and let steep a bancha tea for 20 seconds... All up to you and what you like... I say experiment...

The water should be hot, but not boiling. Everything else you do is fine.

Thats the only way I can stomach the stuff - unfortunately it doesnt taste great
