Where do bottled water come from?!

Question:

Where do bottled water come from?

Answers:
Believe it or not, a lot of bottled water companies use ordinary tap water from relatively "clean" tap water. There are more reputable companies who use "natural spring water" from the areas they lay claim to having drawn it from.

Listening to a radio program who investigated the same question.

Michigan.

a water bottle supply company.

from factories

The Hot Springs or the melting snow

Most comes from the municipal water system

the tap.

Filtered well water. Reverse osmosis filters are the norm in the business right now.

i get mine out of the bottle. fool what do you think. who knows where the hell they get to put in the bottle. might be reprocessed sewer water from the city. you have to risk it. cannot go without your watere. just drink tap water. they proved ny tap water was as pure as anything bottled.

scary thing is it could come from anywhere, there is no regulations on bottled water. there have been research into this and they say bottled water is no healthier than tap water....

Natural springs, in most cases.
but.
Who really knows ?

They turn the fauset on (just like you do in your home) and fill the bottles. The only difference is the water they use goes though more filters than your normal water does. And all water tastes better cold and since most bottled water you drink is refrigerated it will naturally taste better.

Ummm.... inside the bottle?

It usually helps if you take the cap off first. I mean, if you're trying to get the water out of the bottle. Or really in the bottle in the first place. You can pretty much leave the cap on if you just want to look at the water. Unless the bottle's like, blue. Or has a really big label.

sand

from the store in most cases. but you can find the same stuff from your faucet.

well actually it is said that it c comes from the municipal water system and others say it comes from springs but what i believe is that after they water is purified from the tap it gets repurified for bottle water

They come from springs and water bottled water companys around the world.

I know that at Coke, in Indy, they use well water which is filtered several times the Dasani is then blasted with liquid nitrogen before capping and needs to rest at least 48 hrs before consumption...... they also use tap water

The bottled water store. Some water used is actually several times filtered water from a public source. Others are from natural springs, mass production bottled then sold to stores for resale.

some comes from the mountain streams, and others probably come from a river by your house. Then again some might come from the tap...........

bottled water come from schools children bags

from the mother bottle of course!

A bottled water factory of course!

Where do they get it? Ha ha, you'd be surprised at where so called mountain spring water comes from. Ever see any water trucks up at a mountain stream filling up? No, me neither.

A well known "bottled water" company in Australia got busted for selling people tap water as "pure mountain Spring water".

Don't believe everything you read on the labels. Unless they have a factory on top of this "spring" don't be surprised if it is not just filtered water.

From the places where the water from river, spring, lakes, bore wells and ponds is bottled.
