Is TESCO in comparison with other supermarkets expensive with non-offer food?
In other word if you went shopping somewhere else for the same items not on offer would it be cheaper than Tesco?
Answers:
I think that they are probably the cheapest. If you go to mysupermarket.co.uk and enter your usual shopping list, it will compare the major supermarkets and let you know which is cheaper for you. It will even let you know, which items you could swap to make the most of promotional offers aswell.
Possibly. Although Tesco has proven they are cheaper then Sainsbury's and Asda. Look on ech supermarket website if you have time. Tesco even tell you the price of the other two supermarkets
I always find asda the cheapest and I shop at most major supermarkets. They may not have the wide choice of sainsburys or tescos but I'm always pleasantly surprised with my bill at the checkout
I don't know about the price comparison thing, I find them expensive and I shop at Salisbury's, but I do think the quality is very poor and I find it the least hygienic, they also have food still for sale that other supermarkets would have binned. Morrison's has the worst meat and quality of veg.
It's a pretty close run thing between Tesco, Asda, and Morrisons. Sainsbury and Waitrose are more expensive generally.
I agree, I find them more expensive, they do have some good bargains, but I have always found Asda to be cheaper.
no tesco is one of the cheapest large shopping supermarkets going now look at morrison's an asda way over the top on there prices ,i always go to tesco .
I'd say it's amongst the cheapest, although Asda may be cheaper, it depends on the item you're buying.
I find Tesco's custard creams to be most pleasant at, I think, 28p. Do my big shops at Asda though.
I have personally found ASDA to be cheaper, but lacking quality compared to the groceries i recieve from Tesco.
there was a recent report stating that the supermarkets were all similar in price, However, don't go to them, they are money grabbers who do not care about flavour, all they care about is that it looks good on the shelves. If you want a challenge, go to your local butcher and buy your favourite meat and then go to your local supermarket and buy the same meat. When you take them home, the butchers meat will not have as much fat come of it when cooking, and will taste fifty times better. Furthermore, the price in your local independents is similar and sometimes cheaper than the supermarket. The same goes for all fresh produce in the supermarkets. They have taken over our food culture and made us believe that people do not have time to cook and that all consumers want is a microwave. This may be true, but it is up to consumers to change their attitude and fall in love with cooking and food again. Convenience food has had its day. Boycott the supermarket food, fair enough purchase cleaning produce or toiletries but not food
tesco's are cons they dont pay us any extra wages
and recently they've release their catalogue
competing with argos
tesco sucks its makin millions
but not givin any to its children
bottom thumbs down
middle fingers up
tesco
sucks !!
Asda are good, although I avoid it because of the choice they have there, you have George for clothes, electrical items, dvd, cd, curry & pizza stall etc and it generally costs me at least £30 more than if I were to go to Morrisons. Tesco is along the lines of Asda as they have a clothing range too and electricals and cds if you go to a bigger store.
Only Asda might be slightly cheaper. Tesco are cheaper than Sainsburys, Waitrose, Somerfield, Morrisson, etc.
