i mean women always crave chocolate but men rather drink beer or do something but neverwant chocolate

Often women crave chocolate when their hormones are a bit loopy each month, so I guess guys don't get that bit! I know lots of guys who like choccie too but you are right, it is usually women.....I blame it on the hormones! When they surge, a woman actually does need to increase her calorific intake for a day or two and usually craves something sweet, so what better than chocolate! :)
My husband must be a woman cause nobody loves chocolat more than him.

I do not think that is a true statement. I am male and eat a little chocolate everyday and also know many other men who do.
I am a woman and I truly believe it is because of our female hormones and our need to eat something sweet. I can honestly tell you that I am ALWAYS craving chocolate,and it has nothing to do with the visitor once a month either!! ;-)

I happen to be one of those women who intensely crave chocolate so I would appreciate a lot more research into this area. Many men, however, also like chocolate but, in general, apparently to a lesser degree.

No but seriously, many women do have the craving for something rich and at least slightly sweet, but at the same time many try to keep their consumption to a controllable amount for fear of putting on too much weight... In fact guys tend to have the upper hand when it comes to eating more chocolate regularly 'cus they have higher metabolism rates than us women!!!
So actually, a lot of guys (and gals too) like chocolate 'cus it has compounds in it that give them that feel-good factor to anyone who consumes it... In fact, my brother eats up 70 to 80% of the chocolate supply at home on a regular basis!... :-)
