Is there any way to make coffee without a coffee pot?
Pretty self explanitory. I like coffee.. a lot. And I was just curious. You'd think that if you can get hot water to drip at a steady pace into the filter, then you could do it.
Answers:
My coffee pot broke recently and what I did is took the drip container out,set it on a coffee cup,put a filter and coffee in it,then poured extremely hot water into it.works good.
nope you cant make coffee without a coffee maker. you can buy coffee already made
or there is a thing called a french press which you pour hot water into coffee grounds with a metal filter.
Of course. There are cultures all over the world where it is still traditional to spoon ground coffee into a cup (or a glass) and pour boiling water over it, so that it steeps just like tea.
heat some water in a pot....or a microwave.....throw in some instant coffee and stir.........
Its called a perculator. Their cheap, you can buy them at walmart, and their very easy to use.
Folgers makes coffee in tea bags. all you have to do is heat up a mug of water and dip it in. my mother-in-law uses it, she said it's great and saves counter space!!
instant coffee, or you can buy some already made
you're right
i have made it that way---but i think the coffee taste better if you use a fine grind coffee
instant coffee (won't taste as nice) or bought (more costly in the long run).
Who are these people? Other than Kushan 12 & Hank, you've nothing but misinformation here!
Any true coffee lovers use a French press because it really does make the finest cup of coffee: it allows more the natural oils to flavor it. Also, Turkish coffee still has the grinds in it, & that is great stuff.
Percolators can scorch the beans. French presses are cheap, quick & easy to use.
I agree with jakomo (?) I use a french press. It's easy to use, and very easy to store (in a cabinet). It's like having instant gourmet coffee right in your living room/kitchen, wherever. It's also nice when company comes over - you don't have to use a coffee pot and whatnot.
The ones at Starbucks (most expensive ones I've seen) run anywhere from 24.95-34.95 on sale - but other stores probably have them cheaper - I'd only use the ones that I sale, because I use them daily at work as well as my house.
You just grind the coffee pretty coarse (or have your barista grind it for a French press) and then you put the coffee into the bottom of the French press, fill it all the way with suuuper hot water, put the lid on, wait 5 minutes, push the lid down, and you have perfectly brewed coffee.
It's amazing and if you love coffee will change your whole view of coffee.
yes it is called instant coffee
