I drink a lot of coffee, is it bad for me?!

Question:

I drink a lot of coffee, is it bad for me?

Answers:
It is if that's all you exist on. I used to live on 12 cups of coffee a day and 2 bags of peanut M & M 's That's it. But I was 20 years old and my body could take the abuse a little better than it could now. By the way...there's actually more caffeine in chocolate than there is in coffee. Try drinking Half- Caf or only drinking caffeine coffee before noon and then decaf the rest of the day

yes because it has a lot of caffine and caffine can give u brain cancer.

yes

Define "a lot". I drink a lot of coffee, maybe 3-4 big cups a day (500 ml), and I'm fine. It's not bad unless you have some health problems.

It is not going to kill, you, if that is what you are really asking. But caffeine is a diuretic, which means that water is passed through the body at a faster rate than otherwise processed. Caffeine is also a stimulant. Your blood pressure will rise, your heart rate can ascend a little, also. Two or three cups of coffee in the morning is not really bad for you, but water throughout the day will offset the coffee's impact on your body. Coffee is also acidic, which means that if it is not flushed through the body with good water intake, your kidneys will not be able to properly filter out the waste properly from the coffee, and you could potentially suffer urinary problems. It is also acidic, which means that the pH in coffee is low, and because of the acid in coffee, ulcers could develop in your gastrointestinal tract, stomach bleeding, intestinal problems. These problems that I have said are longer-term problems. I drink 3 or4 cups of coffee in the morning, but then throughout the day at work or at school, I drink alot of water, or juice, and these chemicals in coffee are much more easily passed through the system, and go out the body as urine through the day. You also need to look at your family's history of diabtes, high blood pressure and heart disease. Speak to your doctor if you have genuine concerns regarding these issues. I am just giving you insight, NOT medical advice. You doctor should do this. If you really do drink alot of coffee, make sure that intake of water, juice and non-caffeinated drinks are also imbibed, thereby diluting the coffee in your system, and allowing the body to metabolize it more efficiently, and the body can flush the waste products out better.

yes it is because it has caffine in it. one of the symtoms of caffine overdose is bad urination.

well if you r over 18 u can drink it but if u r younger than 18 than that makes u short

its bad for u! u can hurt ur stomach and you can have a cancer

It depends on how healthy you are and if you're already taking medications that could be affected by over indulgence of caffeinated products.

If you drink decaf no but if you drink regular coffee yes it has a lot of caffeine in it and that is not good on your kidneys.

Yes, too much of caffeine intake is a heart jitter.
