Does icecream ever go bad?!

Question:

Does icecream ever go bad?

Answers:
Frozen, it can last for a very long time, perhaps a year. Taste might degrade and it might become hard. But it is a dairy product so some spoilage will eventually occur. Of course, if it melts, it goes bad in a couple of hours.

yeah it does, but it takes a while b4 it goes bad

Yes. My dad told me a story about some pumpkin Ice cream that his Mom bought when he was a kid. She bought it around thanksgiving, and it stayed in there until spring. He said that one day he looked at it, and it wasn't even orange any more. So, I would definitely throw my ice cream out after a few months.

Mine always gets freezer burnt!

yes, but after a really long time. first it goes frosty and it ices up all over on the sides, then after a really long time it can start to smell. but I'm talking a year +

Yes - the only food to never go bad is honey.

yes....it takes on other flavors thats in your freezer and causes a chemical reaction and you can also get freezer burn as well.

Yes--it can pick up funky flavors, get a gummy kind of residue, become freezer-burned and even grow ice crystals if you don't press a layer of plastic wrap on top of the ice cream.
