As far as I understand, Coca Cola works better than anything else, but it doesn't have to be flat, only if you are drinking it to control diarrhea, when you also need to combine it with water.
Yes,it is very true that Sprite or 7-up will make your stomach feel better when you are ill! I would also like to suggest gingerale such as Vernors,or whatever brand you like. When you are suffering from the stomach flu and you have stopped vomiting,take little sips of gingerale and it will really help your stomach to calm down,and feel so much better!! ;-)
