Is Gatorade bad for you?!

Question:

Is Gatorade bad for you?

Answers:
Hello:

Actually, people who suffer from Hypertension (High Blood Pressure),should probably talk to their doctor before consuming Gatorade since Gatorade does contain ALOT of sodium and potassium in it! Now in my honest opinion,if you do not suffer from Hypertension,or other serious health problems I REALLY FEEL that Gatorade is very beneficial because it helps replace the the body fluids that you lose when you are sweating from being out in really hot weather,or if you have been exercising really hard!

Gatorade does AN EXCELLENT job of replacing the fluids that you lose when you suffer from the flu and you are having vomiting and diarrhea going on! Gatorade should be taken IN VERY SMALL SIPS when you have stopped vomiting from the flu,and PLEASE ALWAYS CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE YOU DRINK ANY GATORADE!! I know that my doctor STRONGLY ENCOURAGES me to keep Gatorade or Powerade in my house for when I do get the flu, because it really does help you feel better when you can't stomach the thought of eating.

Gatorade does a much better job of re-hydrating your body when you are dehydrated, because it helps to replace many of the fluids that your body has lost when you have been really ill,or profusely sweating alot!! I hope that this has been helpful for you?? ;-)

it has the chemical equivalents of sweat and urine

Not so much bad, but is really made for those who have exercised a lot and lost a lot of potassium or sodium. Otherwise, you are putting too much sodium in your body and your fingers will swell from it. Honest. It contains a lot of electrolytes.

No its not
