Question:

When you order iced tea in a restaurant, what kind of tea is it?

Is it usually plain black tea, a blend such as earl grey or english breakfast? specifically, what kind of tea? I know the tea is usually red in color..... Thanks.

so basically its Liptons black tea?

It's usually Lipton Orange Pekoe.

Depends on the restaurant but usually it will be lipton or luzianne

Iced Earl Grey with 3 lemon slices, no sugar.

usually liptons, i've worked at like 6 restaurants as teen and it's always liptons

Lipton

all the restaurants i go to they brew the tea fresh. so they say...and its a brownish color with a bit of red i guess you could say. i order mine without lemon because i despise lemons.(if you don't ask for it without lemons they will give you a huge gross lemon seed infested growth of a nasty lemon)...don't ask i just really hate them...

It really depends. I've asked for iced tea with lemon and I get peach or raspberry tea. Ick. The bakery I go to serves Earl Grey which is my choice. But at work it was always plain old Lipton or whatever brand of "plain" tea my distributor sold.

i live in north carolina---
so when i order iced tea it's sweet

Most likely a blend of orange pekoe, black, and cut black tea. Ask them what brand.
