What caffeinated beverages besides those that use Aspartame work best?!

Question:

What caffeinated beverages besides those that use Aspartame work best?

My best friend is super dooper sensitive when it comes to just about anything and she actually used Diet Mt. Dew as a wake up source. Drinking one can of it (or any diet soda, but MT. Dew specifically cuz she loves the taste) wakes her up like 2-3 cups of coffee would wake the average person...it's just ridiculous! She also chews Extra gum which again has Aspartame. I worry about her Aspartame intake very much cuz she's a pretty avid gum chewer and diet Mt. Dew drinker. I do not need any facts pro or against Aspartame as that's not why i am here. I am asking what beverages (besides coffee and energy drinks would would wire her for days!) are out there that someone has tried that they liked the taste of? Just drinking an Iced Tea wakes her up so I do not need any energy type drinks or any kind mentioned. Trying to help her ween off of Aspartame products and she's pretty dependant so I really do need serious help!

Pepsi one is sweetened with Splenda. http://www.pepsi.com/pepsi_brands/produc...

As are some other drinks like Diet Rite. Not sure about any other sodas. It sounds like your friend relies on caffeine to wake up and it doesn't have anything to do with aspartame. I personally like hot tea, or iced tea, as a natural beverage and caffeine source. Chai tea and White tea are excellent beverages that have a subtle taste.

pepsi one isnt too bad and it has no aspartame...i believe sprite zero also...many of the companies are now making products without apsartame..good luck and i wish i could get energy that easily....

how about trying colostrum? that's a healthy source and if she doesn't try once, she wouldn't know whether it will help... helps a lot of people regain their energy. maybe taking vitamin B will help too. and exercising surely helps--perhaps you two should schedule time to exercise together :)

as for caffeinated, each person differs, i think... when i drink just one cup of ordinary latte, cuppuchino, or mocha, i can stay awake for hours :D maybe she could take a double shot of coffee? but remind her to drink lots of water so she doesn't dehydrate...

Diet Rite. It has Splenda, which is basically extracted from sugar, so it tastes like Sugar.
