Question:

Anyone know where to buy a chocolate free ester egg?

I need to by an easter egg as the person is allergic to chocolate it brings on her eczema.

Answers:
You can buy eggs made of Carob instead of chocolate in health food shops, although I think Carob is an acquired taste to be honest...

Sees chocolate store!

I get mine from a supermarket, they come in boxes of six... with shells on

Ummm.... why don't you just get her a regular egg?! They don't have any chocolate.

Just buy then normal eggs hard boiled and painted. I am sure they would be nicer anyway......

Surely you would get one in any health food shop.

Try thorntons they do special eggs for people allergic to eggs and diabetics.

Well you could buy the plastic colored eggs from the store and fill them with skittles, or jelly beans. They sell them at target or walmart. The link below has photos.

buy a dozen eggs and give her one

Sounds like she needs a dozen free range then.

Any health food shop will sell them.

yeah.....austria........they boil a regular egg and paint it (not with chocolate)

I don't believe white chocolate is actually chocolate...you can find those in most places that sell the regular chocolate ones.

Buy a regular easter egg and some eczema cream

Most places sell non-chocolate along with the chocolate.

Try your local health food store for carob eggs. Try link to www.veganfamily.co.uk/easter who definitely have some otherwise, how can I put this politely, PET stores will probably have carob eggs for dogs! depends how close a friend she is!

from the "ester" Buny of course!

Sweettarts usually make the chocolate free eggs, as well as some of the bubble gum makers do this as well, most of these candies that are chocolate free are jaw breakers, or bubble gum, sometimes they are marshmellows. Most grocery stores and drug stores sell other Easter candies, instead of chocolate.

go to a candy store and tell them you need a non chocolate easter egg tthey have them in almond bark etc happy easter

Find out which part of the chocolate your friend is allergic to. Most places sell white chocolate (which contains no actual chocolate, but does share a few ingredients with chocolate) eggs. I've also seen peanut butter bunnies, I forget who makes them.

I have a friend who just doesn't like chocolate. I would fill plastic eggs with jelly beans and other odd candies that weren't chocolate. And of course, she'd have plenty of Peeps (marshmallow bunnies) to go with her eggs.

Why not make one yourself? It would be a lot more personel and i'm sure she would appreciate it more. Find out what the allergy is to and make a nice easter basket full of home made treats made by yourself and a few little chicks etc :-)
