The reason I asked is we have well water and i was thinking that city water would be better for my kids(flouride and the water is treated) then our well water. I can get some from my mom who lives in the city. Was just wondering how long it would be "Good" if kept in the frig. Thanx

Drink your well water it will fill your Kid's with minerals City water is heavily chlorinated and will kill you slowly
If you do go with City water when it turns green in the fridge and tadpoles swim in it it's about ready to drink by city standards

City tap water is never fresh.

I would not keep tap water sitting around for too long. Maybe 2 days at the most since it could start getting flat or could easily get contaminated.

what is fresh in city tapwater?
i'm in phoenix. i wont drink the water.
strange stuff grows in it; and it doesnt take long to start growing!

as long as it is covered it should last about a week

For ever. But we rely on well and rain water as we live out in the country. When our kids lived at home, we gave them fluoride tablets.

Most city water is chlorinated. In an open container the chlorine will last from a few hours up to a day or so. Once that is gone, almost anything can start growing in the water, some harmful, some not. Best solution is to buy bottled water and supplement with floride pills.

hahahahaha!!! where u live at...da country

yeah
