Where did the Myth that Tea has more caffiene than Coffee come from?!

Question:

Where did the Myth that Tea has more caffiene than Coffee come from?

I drink both regularily and can easily tell coffee is more caffienated, plus the research is there to back it up. A lot of non-tea drinkers I know claim tea has more caffiene. Where did they get this false information?

sorry, just wanted 2 points!

From idiots.

They probably run in the same circle with those who think "human" is responsible for Global Warming and that H2O is a chemical and it's bad for the environment.

There is definitely caffein in tea but it is only 1/2 of the amount that is in coffee but not all tea has caffein in them....maybe they just need some "re-education" on the subject of caffein :-)

For those who think tea has more caffein than coffee check out http://www.stashtea.com/caffeine.htm...

I Think it is the volume or amount. With tea you use only a small amount as opposed to coffee where you more.I believe if you use the same amount of tea as you do coffee you will have more caffeine.

People will believe anything they read in the newspaper or see on TV. People have forgotten how to think for themselves and do their own research.

i dont know but it is pretty stupid
