What is the difference between Coke Zero and Diet Coke ??!

Question:

What is the difference between Coke Zero and Diet Coke ??

Answers:
Coke zero is made with Splenda, which leaves less of an aftertaste than aspartame... which also more people are allergic to like msg... causes migraines and cancer. Splenda doesn't have those issues, It is actually made from the sugar cane.

Coke Zero tastes like regular Coke without the calories

Diet Coke tastes like its own version of Coke

taste

I don't know the diffrence, but both tasted weired.

the other one is zero and the other one is diet...duh

the name and taste.

zero is supposed to have zero calories while diet just lower. and taste

Coke Zero is sweetened with aspartame and acesulfame potassium and has zero calories. The only chemical difference between Coke Zero and Diet Coke is that Coke Zero has about half the aspartame but has more acesulfame potassium.

Hmm, on a psychological level I think coke zero was marketed for men and diet coke for women. Diet coke ads were the diet coke break (with the half naked men cleaning windows and stuff) whereas coke zero was all about the blokes complaining about the world not being perfect and women having a 5 year plan (or something!)
The techie bit...
Diet Coke - Although it came out two years before “New” coke, diet coke that we’ve enjoyed since the 80s is the sugar free form of new coke. In other words, it’s based on the formula for the “New Coke” that wasn’t released yet (it debuted in 1985) when Diet Coke hit the market (1983), and is also now no longer available. (the New coke). Coca Cola has no plans at this time to discontinue the aspartame based Diet Coke, as it is third in the soda market. (After Coke and Pepsi, respectively.)
Coca Cola Zero - Sweetened with aspartame and acesulfame potassium., the reason this is different than Diet Coke is Coca Cola Zero is a sugar free version of the Classic Coke formulation. In other words, this is meant to be a sugar free version of the red cans of Coke you know and may or may not love. It has a redder, deeper color close to the color of Classic Coke and tastes far less like a diet soda (by many accounts) than Diet Coke.

Coke Zero comes closer to tasting like Coke with an aftertaste, and Diet Coke comes closer to tasting like Pepsi with an aftertaste.
