What is the best way to brew coffee and what is the best tasting coffee?!

Question:

What is the best way to brew coffee and what is the best tasting coffee?

Answers:
My preferred method of brewing coffee is with a French Press or with a coffee machine that uses a type of sprinkler method to send the water through the grounds, as opposed to the straight drip. The coffee machines look like regular ones, just cost a bit more.

Asking what is the best tasting coffee is like asking what the best tasting wine is. Its all personal preference and the best way to approach it is like tasting wine. Try a bunch of different kinds to see what you like.

If you are not sure what you prefer, don't waste your money on a whole pound of it. Go to your local grocer that has a bulk coffee section and get a sampling of several different kinds. Buying enough beans to make one pot will cost you about 50 cents.

My last tip is to invest in a coffee bean grinder. Nothing better than a cup of fresh ground coffee. You can get these super cheap at places like target or wal-mart (around $10).

Hope that helps. :o)

The best tasting coffee is Colombian coffee. It's best if purchased in whole bean form and ground before brewing.

i heard that brewing with cold water is the best so that's what i do...i also use Folgers and i put it in the fridge. i used to use wal mart's brand but my mother in law got me hooked on Folgers

i don't know if that's the best...but it's what i prefer...even over Starbucks

there's always kona coffee from Hawaii...i've heard it's great but it's like 30+ dollars a lb so i've never tried it.

man ya'll must have a LOT of money to be buying french presses, coffee grinders, and special containers...i can barely afford the coffee!

Use a Bodum (aka French Press).
Only grind beans just before use and use Organic, Shade Grown coffee.
Only buy what you will use for 1 week and store in a air-tight opaque container. Never store coffee in fridge or freezer.

Using Bodum makes the best tasting coffee possible in my opinion.

JUAN VALDEZ !!!!!!!!! YUMMY !!!!

i always use fresh cold spring water
i grind my own coffee beans [french roast] just before making my coffee
i clean my coffee pot once a week by using a cup of white vinegar and water
