Metal coffee cups in microwaves ???!

Question:

Metal coffee cups in microwaves ???

I know its a dumb question..but just wondering...I put a metal coffee cup in the microwave without thinking about first and a spark flash and I took it out...I poured my coffee into another cup and I'm wondering if the spark could of cause something to the drink since the cup was metal?

Answers:
It is OK, drink it.

I would not drink this.

Umm. Start the coffee making over, without the metal. You dont want to drink that and wake up tomorrow with bunny ears or something....

no

the drink should be fine

NO! DON'T DRINK IT! i don't know what'll happen, but it might not be too good for you.

The liquid will be just fine.

The spark gave your coffee super powers, but sadly it will not grant you any.

The drink is fine.

but if you want to break your microwave and possibly start a fire or explosion, theni would suggest to continue putting metal objcts in the microwave. but if you prefer instead not to destry your appliance or worse yet, your parent's appliance, then stick to popcorn in the microwave instead.

The worst that could happen is that a few tiny bits of burned oxidation ended up in your drink. YOur body will handle it fine.

well no not really did it taste bad though.

BLEH... your fine.... DRINK IT!!!!!!!!
it sparked becuase of the "micro waves" generated from the of course microwave... things like metal and aluminum short them out... the spark would have continued and you woulda hot coffee and a broken microwave

The coffee will be fine but unfortunately the microwave may short out.

I wouldnt drink that coffee, I would make a new cup and go from there, You dont want to get sick and you know there is alot of danger with microwaves and this stuff
Stay on the safe side!! Make new coffee..
Have a great nite

One spark ,may not make a difference, but it has set you thinking & wondering ,it isn't worth that so just get on with making a fresh cup.
