Does anyone agree that Sam's Cola tastes about the same as Pepsi?!

Question:

Does anyone agree that Sam's Cola tastes about the same as Pepsi?

I was a Pepsi addict. Then Pepsi's chairwoman started badmouthing the U.S. When I tried Sam's Cola, I thought it tasted about the same and have stopped buying Pepsi. And, Sam's Cola is about half the price!

Answers:
marpolel and Katie are correct but the company that makes Sam's (and many other of the private label colas and other soft drinks in North America is The Cott Corporation. A couple of years ago "Consumer Reports" rated Cott, under the guize of Safeway's private label, the best of all colas tested, including Coke and Pepsi.

I notice a difference in taste, but it's not a bad one. Sam's Cola tastes fine to me, and you're right. It's a lot cheaper. I like Shasta Cola too, and Cragmont's cherry cola is the best!

may be it is . some big companys bottle for others in volume

Yes, they do taste similar. I heard that some of the major soft drink companies make the smaller grocery store sodas. only they make it taste similar but not exactly the same.

like Coke and generic Cola.

Nope,I think that Pepsi Cola tastes better than Sam's Cola does!! Also,Sam's Dr.Thunder brand of pop is not as good as Dr.Pepper's brand is!! ;-)

If you are happy then buy sam's. I drink Sam's cola but never thought about the taste other than it is good.

Yes I have to agree with you Pepsi and Sam's cola do taste equally as bad.

Being a diabetic I drink Caffeine free Diet Coke, I tried Caffeine free Diet Sam's it was horrible! Just as horrible as every Pepsi or Diet Pepsi.

If a person wants a comparable low cost alternative to Coke or Diet Coke try the Kroger brand "Big K" colas.
