Do caffinated drinks add weight?!

Question:

Do caffinated drinks add weight?

serious answers only plz thanks!!!

Answers:
If they have sugar in them, they sure do. If they are unsweetened (not artificially sweetened, either, but truly unsweetened) they shouldn't add any weight.

Yes they do

NO,but they can become addictive

Caffeine alone doesn't add weight. Rather, it's the amount of calories in the drink that will contribute to your overall body weight.

they can be addictive, but the sugar (like in sodas) is what adds weight.

I heard they increase your metabolism and so help burn fat. Of course something like coca-cola has too much sugar and only makes you fat, but black coffee with no sugar? well i drink a lot, and i haven't really put on any weight in the last 10 years.

Yes and no.

Yes they can if they have sugar.

No they don't if no sugar.

Yes, because the caffeine builds up in your muscles, cut down to the Non caffeinated or strictly water

Caffeine doesn't contain calories and can reduce appetite and stimulate activity. If you are getting your caffeine from sugary beverages, you are getting too many calories for the side effects.

Sugar and calories add weight !!
