I really don't think there is one that's just the way media portrays it. I don't go to the grocery store and say "F uck 7up AND seirra mist I want sprite because i'm black!!" lol. They're just commercials

Because Sprite is promoted towards young urban males between the ages 14-28.
WELL, in some commercials the music is rap and hip hop, and most of the songs that they play is TIGHT! ..which promotes the sale of sprite. there aint really no connection, its just that if they play some stupid ROCK AND ROLL AND PUNK AND ALL OF that other music, it wont help sell sprite as much.

I don't know, but they have been doing that since the 1980s. There was a Sprite commerical that featured Kurtis Blow, an old-school rapper.
