Is there a recipe to make your own soda pop at home?

I was just wondering because some people brew their own beer, or wine at home, and I was wondering if people could make their own soda pop.

List of Ingredients
2 T Sugar
1 t Vanilla
1/4 t Cinnamon
1 t Bottled Lime Juice
1 C Club Soda


Recipe
Mix well and add lots of ice.
This will look different than regular cola, but tastes similar.
You can vary the lime juice and sugar amounts to suit your taste.
Makes 1 Cup

I once made a batch of homemade root beer, and it was so delicious! It was very potent, too and you have to be careful when you are making and sealing it. Some grocery stores carry the little packaged root beer kits.
