Water comes in a clear bottle to show that it is clean and pure. All companys use green bottles.

Water comes in a clear bottle to show that it is clean and pure. All companys use green bottles. If ginger ale came in a clear bottle, then everyone would go ewwwww cuz it looks all brownish tan and nasty. So by using a green bottle they hide the uglyness and everyone will drink the ginger ale cuz they don't see the uglyness. Why does water always come in a clear bottle. It's just what the company chose. Marketing... Tradition! People arent good with change or reading so the marketing departments keeps things simple. Coke will always be red, Pepsi will always be blue, bottled water will always be clear, and ginger ale will always be green. Just like Tevye said: It's Tradition!
