Question:

Does mountain dew really reduce your sperm count?

i drink a lot of it and i saw all the other questions like this but none of them really gave me cold hard facts. so answer away!

Answers: No. Yellow Dye #5 is an additive that has been used since 1916 in a number of popular products like skim milk, yogurt, and macaroni and cheese. It is fully approved by the Food and Drug Administration for use in food and soft drinks and, as such, is completely safe for consumers. If you want more information, check out the information on the FDA's website at http://www.cfsan.fda.gov/~lrd/colorfac.h... yes it does... i learned it in health a longgggg time ago when i was in high shcool i asked my sex ed teacher and she said it dose but it isnt going to make a differnece in the long run because we have millions of swimmers The amount lost isn't enough to worry about.. Probably would. Your whole lifestyle will have an effect. http://www.snopes.com/medical/potables/m...

hope this helps no not really. Caffine plays a part in reducing your count though. when my husband and i were trying to get pregnant my doc told me to tell him to back off the caffine for a little while!! LOL- No, but I remember hearing that urban legend when I was in high school- No guy was caught dead drinking Mountain Dew, Mello Yello, or any other yellow knock-off. It's supposed to be a coloring called yellow 5 that would lower sperm count, but it is completely false. Cheers! An ingredient in it, Yellow 5, kills sperm cells but there are so little ammounts in Mountain Dew that it is not a concern I think so.... my husband and i have been trying to conceive for over a year and have been unsuccessful.... nothing is wrong with either of us (tests proved that) and suprise... he drinks that **** everyday
