Is coffe bad for you if consumed in large quanaties?!

Question:

Is coffe bad for you if consumed in large quanaties?

Cause I like to drink 6-8 cups of coffee at once, but then my tummy hurts afterwards! Does this just cause a mild stomachache, or is it also bad for your health? Thanks!

Answers: if it was we wouldn't have so many starbucks if it hurts it is bad but it does lower the chances of geting some cancers or so i have been told yes too much coffee is bad for you. coffee has caffine and too much of that will send you on a jolt and crash cycle. that means that you will feel great and hyper but then feel tired and possibly sick. if you want to have more long term energy i recomend toast, milk, yogurt, oatmeal is good too. all of these will provide long lasting energy to burn. (they are also healthy) coffe has caffine in it (some of them) so if you drink alot..then it will upset your stomach and may cause heartburn Coffee has Caffine (spelling).
It prevents you from sleeping.
You should know how important sleep is... It is well known to be bad for your heart (and mind) in excessive quantities. Can induce a light sleep or interrupt with sleep up to 6 hours later (so should never be drunk before bedtime) Moderation is the key. Drinking too much of anything can be bad for you... even good stuff, like fruit and honey. Good luck with the aches! I drink like 3 pots before lunch, I'm sure it can't be good for you, but I'm keeping on until I pee brown or burn a hole in my stomach.... ummmm yea
blocks absorbtion of iron (anemia) and other minerals. can lead to cancer like, breasy canser. Yes coffee is bad,I used to drink coffee a lot and it didn't brings me any good, now I drink hot tea and it's very good for your health.
