At what temperture does alcohol freeze?!

Question:

At what temperture does alcohol freeze?

....

Answers: Alcohol will freeze, but only at extremely low temperatures. Water's freezing point is 0 degrees Celcius, but the freezing point of ethanol (the alcohol you're talking about) is -114 degrees Celsius. Ultra-low temperature freezers (which are the coldest you can buy) have temperatures between -50 and -90 degrees Celcius. Your freezer at home most likely has temperatures around -10 degrees Celcius. All these temperatures are too warm for pure alcohol to freeze. That's why you can alcohol in your freezer and it won't freeze. alcohol does not freeze, if you put vodka in freezer it will still be liquid. alcohol is not suppose to freeze. if it gets below zero it will get slushy because of the water in the mix. trust me, i live in buffalo, ny. lol. It does not freeze into a solid form. If you want proof... put a bottle of vodka in your freezer for a couple days. You will see it still pours. It does not freeze. Ethanol (the kind of alcohol one drinks) freezes at -175 F/ -73C. It will not freeze in a home freezer simply because the temperature is not low enough; a home freezer is usually maintained at only about -5 F/ -20 C. The people above aren't thinking it through; ANYTHING will freeze and solidify if it gets cold enough.
