Answers: goverment regulations ... you have to have a limitation on everything once its been processed the place is that old but the water running through it is probably snow run-off LOL because it's stangnant when it's taken out of it's 1000 yr old source...:) I asked this question some time ago,It is to do with the plasticides in the plastic that leach into the water and taint it after a time. To make you buy more when the date's run out. It's the water that says 'gluten free' and 'suitable for vegetarians' that gets me - I'd love to see the wheat and meat based alternatives!!!!!!! probably because the plastic can poison the water over time. Because they want you to buy more, silly. because they touched it
brought it away from the rocks and into or polluted air probably the company has to cover their a r s e. think all food/drink has to have bbf date Thats a really good question...

Also, why is it that when you turn a 33cl bottle of water upside down it looks like it says PEE.

Go on, try it... it really tells you something about that special mineral source doesn't it..!? because it is the SOURCE that is 1000 years old.. not the water It has a sell by date because it is nearly too old already. Who would drink water that is 1001 years old? Because it isn't covered by the same regulations as water you get from your tap. It has fewer tests for purity, it doesn't have chlorine in it (which is the reason why most people buy it!) so it isn't disinfected for long term treatment. It probably has UV or ozone treatment which is a short-term measure.

It's also exposed to the air in bottling, and therefore has some bacteria in it which might - on rare occasions - upset your stomach. It's also a flaming expensive way to get water. there is no more water on earth than there was a million years ago. it just moves around this is a prime example of how companys treat the general poplulation as village idiots. i only buy bottled water if the place that i am visiting has vile tasting water or if i have been warned by the locals not to drink tap water. all money making gimmicks and we fall for them. Mind you - to all those people who ONLY drink bottle water you all are village idiots! mineral water comes from springs, where the water is continually fresh, once you bottle it, it is capable of spoiling, besides most water you can drink years after the date anyway so why worry
