What colour is coca-cola before it is coloured brown/black?

?

Answers: The color of Coca-Cola was brown originally. The earliest recipe had caramel as an ingredient which gave it the brown color. Source(s):

I am not sure how relevant this is to the answer you were seeking, but I hope it helps somehow. Looks kinda like urine, if you want an honest answer... coca-cola syrup is brown but when you add the carbon water to it then become a grey in color which is not the adverising to people so they add the brown and red color dye into it to created the color it is when you buy it from the store. clear. it was green, this is the truth
