Does Starbucks Coffee contain MSG or Equivalent?!

Question:

Does Starbucks Coffee contain MSG or Equivalent?

I lived in France for some time, so now I am spoiled by good coffee, and drink quite a bit.

When Starbucks first began to be popular, I was unimpressed by their various coffees. As it became more trendy, I decided to concede better judgement and join the pack of 'posh Starbucks cool people'.

I recently came to the realization that Starbucks coffee has the same effect on my body as when I consume food containing MSG.

I asked around and discovered that others have noticed MSG-like side-effects as well.

For me personally, the effects of both MSG and drinking Starbucks Coffee are; headache, tight throat, thirst for water, a general sensation of unease after consumption and an odd craving for more.

I think I should clarify, other coffee and expresso brands do not effect me (and a few friends I asked) with the above mentioned side effects. This is why I have focused this question specifically on Starbucks brand.

I think I should clarify, other coffee and expresso brands do not effect me (and a few friends I asked) with the above mentioned side effects. This is why I have focused this question specifically on Starbucks brand. As far as i know starbucks coffee doesn't contain MSG. I work there and asked about it and they said no, like they would even tell me if it did. but it sounds like it just has to much caffeine for your body. Caffeine is alot like alcohol. Each person is different with the amount they can consume before they OD. Honestly, it just sounds like too much caffeine. I'm not kidding..OD'ing on caffeine will give you all of those symptoms including the craving for more. I can't imagine MSG in coffee, but who knows. I know it's not in the Starbucks coffee beans I have here at home.
Hey, where in France? My family is near Reims and I lived in Mouries (near St. Remy) for a time. You would think becuase i work at starbucks that i would know the answer to ur Question but im sorry i dont...but that does seem weird..maybe our coffee does have MSG in it...
