Question:

What kind of tea has the most caffeine? whats better when you really need it, coffee or tea?

Answers: coffee has 80-140 milligrams of caffeine per 7 oz (respectively)
tea has 30-90 milligrams per 8 oz (respectively)
both depending on what type of coffee and tea and or how is it brewed, steeped etc etc..... most of the tea does not have caffeine and if it does it would be coffee. tea is good and even better if you drink ice tea, coffee is good in the morning for breakfast and to keep you awake so i would say tea is better than coffee because it reduces cholesterol and hurtburn, Tea usually contains about half as much caffeine per serving as coffee, depending on the strength of the brew.
Certain types of tea, such as black and oolong, contain somewhat more caffeine than most other teas I like them both but coffee is what I want when I need a boost. Some mornings I just need coffee to get going and tea doesn't give me the wake up boost that coffee does. I don't like all those fancy coffee's like you can get at Starbucks. Some days this old girl just needs a cup of coffee to get my engines running. in general, an average cup of hot tea has only 1/3 to 1/2 of the caffeine of an average cup of coffee, so if you need a good boost, a good cup of coffee is the way to go Coffee's way better. But if you prefer tea, make sure you don't add milk. I read in the papers that adding milk will affect the (a-really-long-nutrient's name-which-is-good-for-the body) Anyway, take advice from the first two answers. Oh yeah, somewhere else I read that Green tea's good for the body
