How come 20 oz. bottles of soda cost more than 2 liters?!

Question:

How come 20 oz. bottles of soda cost more than 2 liters?

Your getting so much more soda in the 2 liter than a dinky 20 oz. soda. Puzzling.

Answers: It's because of the convenience. A 20oz is easy to drink, carry around, hide in your purse when you go to the movies, etc. It's a damn ripoff but what else is new... Because they know we'll all pay it. Who wants to walk around with a 2 liter?! because there is a much higher demand for 20 oz bottles. 20 oz bottles are for people on the go...people just want to buy a 20 oz when they are thirsty, drink it up, and throw away the bottle.

people buy 2-liters for their home, when they are not going out as much. i think it depends on your you live, if the demand is high then the price is high, 20oz soda in a vending machine cost down the street from cost 1.10$ a 2 liter is around 2.99 and a 12 pack of cans is alomst 4.20$, were i live and right now due to summer, cook outs beaches, partys etc... 12 packs r way to go cos they dont stay on shel as long so they go on sale more like 4 12 packs for 10$. so yea depnds on were u live.
