Does a dogs coat change, when it's been neutured?!

Question:

Does a dogs coat change, when it's been neutured?

Answers: Yes it can. I have a Welsh Springer Spaniel and have just been reading the July issue of the club magazine for the breed. There is a notice there for a demonstration of 'How to trim your pet, with special reference to the woolly coat of a spayed ***** or castrated dog'. (The blanked-out word is the proper name for a femail canine but the automatic monitoring system apparently thinks it is a naughty word!).

Whether the same thing applies to other breeds I don't know, but would think it is highly probable. no, why would it?? Not normally in my experience.

(But you might want to post this in Pets to get more responses.) I don't think so. My dog got "fixed" and her fur color never changed. That happens as dogs get older, not as a result to getting "fixed." No I think not. We had our dog neutered and there was no change. Ive never heard of it changing a dogs coat. No it helps to calm them down. no it should not change when being neutered the only thing that happens is their hormones change which calms the animal down and helps to prevent weak bladders as they get older ive got 5 dogs and none both male or female have ever had any coat change. only change they get is winter to summer coat and as they get older darker coloured dogs sstart to go abit grey in places and sometimes there coat dulls abit but other than than no change at all . hope this helps yeah, they go bald. No but his eyes water and his bark gets to a higher pitch NO i don't think so.. :) Yes it does,

His fur stands on end when he feels the knife touch his private parts!

g-day!
