Ever been to a starbucks that doesnt use soymilk in frappichinos?!

Question:

Ever been to a starbucks that doesnt use soymilk in frappichinos?

im lactose intolerant and they told me no to soymilk in the carmel frappiccino. they use milk in it, why not use soymilk???

Answers: Depends on which kind of soy milk they use.
I am more frequent to "Coffee Bean and Leaf", they uses tetra pack soy milk which is those we can get from the departmental store, soy milk with sugar premix. So when they prepare coffee with soy milk, it is sweet by it self.
For the case of caramel frappiccino, think the sweet taste from the soy milk will clash with the caramel taste, making it funny taste and customer might not able to accept it. Caramel is actually a sugar which turn brown after prolong time of heating it up.
Anyhow, customer can have their order custom made to their taste, like you case, lactose intolerant.
Over here in local scene, not a lot of people knows that do serve soy milk beside milk. So the quantity they keep also limited.
Hope this answers your question. Thank you. somehow soymilk does not go well with it
