it just seems so easy to throw a pad in but do they make 12 cups too?

Answers: Do you mean a perculator or a drip coffee maker? If it is a drip, see how many cups the pads will make. Most coffee makers made 10-12 cups. If it is a perculator, you have to use a filter 'cause the basket has a whole in the center of it. Source(s):
Coffee lover for about 30 years You mean like coffee bags ?
I use them in my machine but it only makes 3 mugs so you might have to use more bags.
Definately worth a try I'd say. read the box to see how many cups it will make. yes you can use the pads . All the paper filters (in a basket-style coffee maker) do is keep the coffee grounds from dripping into the pot. So, using a "pod" of coffee is exactly the same thing, in a different shape.

The only concern would be whether the pod (or pad, or whatever they're called) holds the right amount of dry coffee to brew the amount you want. yes they work but they don't make as much coffee unless you have bigger pads. CHECK the pad box to see how many cups it makes. Usually coffee pacaking has a conversion table.
