Best tea to drink hot?
...not many tea drinkers in the southern United States, so I'm driven to ask. What's your favorite flavor of tea to drink hot and who makes it? My favorite so far is Lady Grey.
Answers: My favorite is imperial peach white tea, from Celestial seasonings. it tastes absolutely awesome. i like honey suckle tea, or hibiscus. I'm quite partial to jasmine green tea. The box I have right now is from Trader Joe's but you can probably get it most places. It has quickly become my fav. japanese brown rice green tea There are a lot of tea drinkers in the southern states. Its just sweet and iced. Anyway, I like hot chai tea :-) chai tea made by many different manufacturers but my fav is oregon chai. MMMMYUM Earl grey is awesome, i love all the hot teas from a brand named TAZO i usually bought tje whole box at starbucks I myself prefer an old fashion Earl Grey. Ever since I saw Jean Luc Picard drink it on Star Trek: Next Generation it has been my favorite. My favorite tea company would have to be Bigelow teas. It is flavored correctly and the aroma can draw you to it itself. My favorite would have to be mint teas hot. Lemon teas are so plain. Mint is refreshing because if you want to go and sleep its perfect and if you want to stay awake it helps you focus. You can get Bigelow teas from Star bucks now I believe. Chamomile teas are great also but you have to get it from celestial season tea company you can buy from a Wal-Mart. No berry teas should be considered a tea. Some are good but they go right through with know true effect. I drink a lot of hot tea and my favorite is Jasmine Tea. I first drank it in Taiwan in 1964 and haven't found a tea since that had better flavor. However like any other flavor of tea it depends on the brand and where it was produced. The jasmine teas from Taiwan are still the best for flavor. On a recent trip to Okinawa I introduced my 18 year old grandson to Taiwan jasmine tea and he instantly fell in love with it. The Jasmine tea from China (mainland) on the other hand is pretty bad. Bigelow Orange Spice, and Trader Joe's Chamomile tea. Japanese green tea. period. I love Earl Grey,English Breakfast,Peach and Strawberry and a really nice one to try is Peppermint.Very refreshing.
