Benefiting from black tea?!

Question:

Benefiting from black tea?

I just recently heard that black tea is good for your digestive system... I ran to the local chinese market and bought a box or organic black tea (lapsang?)
When I used to live in scotland, my guardian would put milk and sugar in some english black tea and it tasted so darn freaking good.
this black tea I got from the store was stronger, darker, and smokier...and I had to put massive amounts of milk and sugar to hide that...
then recently, i read an article about how milk blocks all the health benefit from tea... and how sugar in your tea was also bad.. then i did a research on it and read some articles that it was OK and others that said it was NOT GOOD...or even HARMFUL to our healths....
do you guys know anything about thhat???:(
i hate wasting what i buy... so i wanna finish this box of tea... how could i drink this tea "healthy" if I can;'t put milk and sugar in it...yet not drink it alone (because it just tastes that bad alone...!!)

Answers:

You could try putting lemon or other juicy fruits in it, hides the taste a bit and is healthier.

Hope that helped
