Tea? From England?!

Question:

Tea? From England?

hey.. just wanted to know.. i have heard that the tea from England is much better than the tea in the U.S. And just would like to know where you can buy really good tea online. I did a search on google and found a bunch.. but did not want to get it off some website and not have it be good or even from England. So.. if anyone knows a good place where i can order tea from England would be great thanks!

I am from Canada and our tea is more to the UK style, if your looking for an English tea in the US to try, the best advice I can give you is find a place that sells gourmet coffees, then look for a brand or ask for "Twinnings", if you want a real experience try loose leaf tea but they have it in bags to, get a tea ball or a small strainer from DollarBarn will do, and make a pot at home.

Just use 1 teaspoon of tea for each 2 cups of water you use to make it, 2 to 3 teaspoons will make a nice 4-6 cup pot of tea.

Let it steep for 3-5 minutes, the pour it into a nice cup, as tea is best in a cup, a touch or milk and sugar your choice. I recommend full fat or 3% but 2% is fine. And the sit back and enjoy.

You may be presented with a choice between English or Irish Breakfast teas, both are fine the Irish is bit stronger, but play with the amounts and time to steep them, you will find you right strength and style in time.
