Just try it! Regular sodas of any brand tend to sink because of the high amount of sugar (glucose) in them. They sink because sugar (glucose) is heavier than water. Diet sodas stay at the surface because of the lack of heavier than water ingredients like sugar. Coke products, Pepsi, Shasta, Safeway Select,just to name a few act this way. I drink Shasta regularly' I like the taste. Pepsi is my favorite and I'll drink Coke if there's no other choice but I've seen these brands all act the same way with regular vs. diet sodas.
