How healthy is this green tea with citrus and white tea with rasberry?!

Question:

How healthy is this green tea with citrus and white tea with rasberry?

i've been trying to stop drinking soda pop, and i've picked up white and green tea lately (iced tea). is the stuff in the bottle healthier than the packets to go, because those are a lot cheaper......

basically, is switching from soda to tea good? and does that iced tea have caffine in it?

Answers:

check the labels. If one of the ingredients is high fructose syrup, then it's as bad for you as regular soda. I'm a hot tea drinker and feel that those bottled teas do not have a significant amount of antioxidants and EGCG since you're never quite sure how long they've been sitting in the bottles.

If you drink hot tea, at least you know it's been seeping in the water for a few minutes, and you'll be drinking it in a few minutes, and you can sweeten it with whatever you want. Sorry but that's just my opinion. But check the labels. That's the key.

edit: oh, sometimes those bottled teas contain some green tea, or white tea concentrate which I can't believe to be totally beneficial. drink hot tea, give it a shot, you'll be glad you did!
