Answers:

Hi, this is a common mistake in making ice tea. When I make ice tea I place 12 Lipton teabags and 1 cup of sugar in a 1 gallon pitcher, I bring water (approx 3 cups) to boil and pour over contents of pitcher, and stir very gently to dissolve sugar. Let stand until tea reaches room temp. Remove tea bags. Fill pitcher up rest of way with cold water (that is refrigerated water, does not need to be filtered or distilled, just refrigerated). Not waiting for the tea to reach room temp. or adding water straight from faucet will make tea cloudy. Refrigerate immediately. Should keep 3 to 4 days. Adding mint leaves to teabags and sugar before adding hot water makes very good Mint Tea. Do Not Drink cloudy tea, it can cause a mild form of food poisoning that give you stomach cramps.
Good Luck!! :)
