Question:

Recipe for Iced Chai Tea, like from the coffee shops?

I've looked them up online, but they don't taste as good! What am I doing wrong?? this is the one I'm currently using:
2.5 cups 2% low fat milk
1tb sugar
2teabags
ground cinnamon

Any ideas??

Answers:

Chai is essentially a mixture of two parts. The first part would be the leaves or flowers(the base of the mixture) for example green tea or black tea, I prefer the black tea as a base. The second part is the stems or roots, like cinnimon, cardomom, cloves,, and ginger. I like to add all of these. I steep the two parts seperately and then mix them together , Then refidgerate untill its cold.Or if you like it hot its good like that too. Then add milk and honey.Or you can buy the chai in a box from a coffee shop or trader joes. Its by the teas!
