Is iced tea just served in certain places? I live in the deep south, USA?
It is a staple here, year round. A freind asked for it in N.Y and was told it wasn't in season......

I was born in Ohio, raised in Florida and Georgia and no place is iced tea more common than in the south. When I first moved to Tampa, FL I though chicken and iced tea was a religion or something:) But you know the real strange thing, now that I am back in the north the tea just doesn't taste the same. I know in the north if you ask for tea in a restaurant in the wrong time of year they look at you like insulted their mother or something.
