Answers:

Yes, it is quite possible that could be the problem. Diet soda has the appearance of being good for you because it supposedly has half the calorie but it has a ton of sugar. It jacks you up for a minute then boom, you crash. It is like kids when they eat too much sugar. Read the amount of sugar in the liter of diet coke you drink a day and multiply that by 2. That's a lot of sugar, you might as well just eat it straight out the bowl. Drinking 2 liters of soda a day cannot be healthy, you know after a while your body adjust to it an that's probably why you have to drink 2 liters. If you drink that much anyways you might as well drink regular coke, same amount of caffeine, with less sugar. Try to find some other alternatives to staying awake. Coffee, I hear helps. Also drinking water, you'll have to relieve yourself but that alone will keep you awake. Also try getting up and stretching or walking around or getting some fresh air. What you really should be doing is trying to get some sleep though. Your body was designed to have a resting period and if you continue to deprive yourself what it needs, it will eventually give out on you. That is also a cause of exhaustion. Think of it this way, if you have a car you have to put gas in it and maintain it to drive and have it operate properly, well it is the same with our bodies. If we don't give proper fuel and regular maintaince for wear and tear, like that car it will conk out on us. With that being said try to get more rest if possible and definitely decrease the diet coke consumption. All the best.
