Its kind of pointless to pay for water twice. Once buying the bottle if water and again when you pay the water bill at your home.

Some cities have tap water that tastes just fine. Some cities have tap water that tastes terrible. It has to do with the source of water of that city and what minerals are in it. I don't use bottled water at home, I use a Brita pitcher, but I buy bottled water a lot because I can take it to the gym, or in the car, etc. For me it's not the taste.. it's the convienience.
