What's the purpose of adding sodium to bottled water?!

Question:

What's the purpose of adding sodium to bottled water?

I recently purchased a case of Nestle water and noticed that it contains sodium. I always thought bottled water was free of sodium. I've been checking out labels of other bottled waters since and they all contain zero sodium.

Answers:

the other bottled water u r checking out is probably spring water. They contain no sodium.
The nestle water is not spring water. It is just filtered bottled water with added minerals. They probably add a bit of sodium to help with taste. Also did u know during hott months if you are sweating alot you loose alot of sodium. A little sodium in your water while u r sweating is good for u as long as u dont suppose to be on a low sodium diet for health reasons.
